Neodymium Magnetic Balls (@396) - Falling Snowflakes !!! ... This is the shot I was striving for ... it combines the best of the top and bottom views and minimizes the camera in view along with some interesting DOF ... Please Note: There are only three snowflakes in this shot ... the rest are created by the mirror box reflections ... New and improved composition combining the best of two shots into one (using a diff camera)

Source info here ... http://digitalcomposting.wordpress.com/2011/12/01/mirror-box/ ... These were made almost entirely from 6-ball ring hexagons. (@078) - Snowflake (small)
(one 6-ball ring center)+(6 single ball contact)+(6 single ball contact) ...
@114) - Snowflake (medium)
(one 6-ball ring center)+(6 single ball contact)+(6 single ball contact)+(6 single ball contact) ... (@204) - Snowflake (large) ... (one 6-ball ring center)+(6 single ball contact)+(2 x (6 single ball contact))+(6 single ball contact)+(6 x (2 balls added to outside)+(6 single ball contact)+(6 x (1 ball end tip)) ... Originally designed Dec 23, 2011 and uploaded to flickr.
