Neodymium Magnetic Balls (@1582) - Space Battleship Yamato / Star Blazers ... The anime icon from the show that inspired the original Star Wars and Battlestar: Galactica. Added more detailing, underside engines, rear side body fins, turret guns - large and small (bent paper-clips), bridge antennas (small nails + 2 x 2-balls), two rear spines (medium nails + 2 x 1-ball), large center spine (large nail + 4-balls). This final stage used @1582 and is utilizing the same process as the Canard Fighter of layering coupled and linked lines of magnets to achieve the desired shape and volume. This is basically solid, building from the inside out. Note: Some magnet challenged changes and scale limitations: The center spine is a bit longer than normal. Did not make sense to make the secondary bridge below the hull. The bridge antennas were limited to two balls since any additional balls would make the magnetic field attract the two rear spines.
