Triple Layered Icosahedron Like

by: Balgore Follow

I haven't seen this before, I was playing around with Triangles when I got the idea to try it!

It is a triple layered Icosahedron made up of dual thick triple layered Triangles.

Triple thick triangles don't fit perfectly tight together in an Icosahedron, so I took off one of the outer layers of the inner most Triangle to make all of the sub units snap together perfectly! (not seen in any of the pictures. This step must be done or there will be gaps in the shape.)

Add on twelve Pentagons at the end to complete it. It is a very nice hard and solid shape.

Imperfect connections on all sides on each Pentagonal face if you don't remove the inner layer of the outer 9-triangle.
