THE MAGNETIC DOT ENCYCLOPEDIA

Dodecahedron Frame Like

by: Damian Follow

Made using the same-polarity-ends tube.
See the other entry 'single polartiy flexible tubes' for more detail about how to make the tubes for the frame: http://www.dotpedia.com/creations/view/1971 .
For a tutorial specifically on the joining technique, see also http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vb8iELf1Ges

It looks easy, until you actually try it HA! : )

The main hard part is getting the tube started, which gets easier after the first million attempts (let me attest :( ). Adding the squares is a matter of technique and patience - if you are sloppy, the whole thing unravels in a cascading realignment of all the magnets into a useless twisty mess.
